The BLSG team is greater than the sum of its parts. We of course draw our strength first and foremost from our accumulated expertise, but then at least as much from the way we work and stick together. Instead of engaging in fierce competition, we prefer to take things easy and maintain an uncomplicated, open and appreciative working relationship. Regardless of age, gender, national origin and other traits, we respect and support each other to the best of our ability and can rely on each other unconditionally in any situation. Only this way do we feel at ease and enjoy success – as a team and individually.

Our remarkable team spirit didn't just grow on trees. Quite the contrary, we do a lot to cultivate it. Several times a year we organize group activities, including family members if interested. From go-carting and a soccer cup to team weekends in the mountains, we've done it all. Everybody can submit their suggestions and ideas. These group activities are voluntary and extremely popular, not just because they are fun, but because they also bring us closer together. And that helps us in our everyday work.

The fact that we promote and support each other in the team also includes also concern for our health, because our day-to-day work demands a high level of commitment, which uses up resources that need to be replenished. When we need to take a break in the office, we help ourselves to coffee, tea, snacks and fruit at the company’s expense. Every month we reflect on our level of satisfaction with the work situation in a questionnaire which acts as our “burnout insurance”.

In the end, health is always also a question of work-life balance. No one is doing a "nine-to-five job" here. We take responsibility for our projects and organize working hours and location as we see fit, taking all relevant factors into account – including working from home. When necessary, working days can sometimes be longer. At the same time, it is important for us to take individual life situations and needs into account and to find a balance between work and private life as best as possible. A sick child at home, a long family holiday or a private appointment? By providing unconditional support in the team, we prevent many problems before they even arise.

Anyone working at BLSG AG takes on responsibility early on. This always leads to personal change, new learning needs and new interests. We are dedicated to the principle of lifelong learning, because our success as a team is also based on the fact that we develop ourselves individually, discover new talents, see new horizons, and set ourselves new goals. We regularly ask ourselves what the team and management can do to promote individual and collective learning processes and to make new qualifications possible. There are plenty of opportunities for professional development – in internal and external training courses, seminars, certification courses and much more. We only need to embrace them.

Appreciation on the part of the employer is, of course, also expressed in cash. So let's talk about money: Depending on a number of factors, financial bonuses are firmly entrenched in our salary model. We receive a performance-related salary, which varies depending on the position. Not always a given: We are compensated for our overtime hours. In addition, the company shows its appreciation on special occasions with extra benefits and grants special leave for weddings and the birth of children.
